“Art is the only way to run away without leaving home” Twyla Tharp

“If you don’t get lost, there’s a chance you may never be found” Unknown

The work I make is a map to satisfy my wanderlust and explore my physical and interior worlds. My tools range from camera, pencil, brush, paint, wax, glue, hammer and drill. Having started my college years as a Natural History & Marine Studies student and living within walking distance to the ocean for the last 40 years, the intersection of land and sea continually influences my work. Always fascinated with the ancient, rusty, worn and the imperfect I am drawn to use found and repurposed materials. My interest in subjects near and far inspire within in me small moments, memories and journeys to come.
